A fall weekend in the country


I spent a weekend in the Belgrade Lakes Region in central Maine. Beautiful lakes dotted with cottages and surrounded by mountains to the north and west. We hiked the trails through the woods and along the lake on that warm November day. I haven't had much time to sketch at all recently with work and travel, so my drawing skills have taken a hit.

But I did learn to drive a tractor...

Beautiful painting. A tractor,mmm If your ever out this way we have some road work to do on our property and we have a tractor. But you must bring that cute white doggie with you.

I dont see your art has taken a hit, all looks good and I love the bright colours against the lake and mountains in the background. And I have to say, you are much better looking that most tractor drivers I seen (last one I saw, was chewing gum, smoking and had a beard with a comb stuck in it)...
